The team performed social impact assessments, inventory of loss (IOL), asset valuation, and community consultations to prepare a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and Land Acquisition Plan (LAP). Activities included household marking, Mouza map collection, vendor and poverty surveys, and stakeholder engagement to ensure fair compensation, sustainable resettlement, and compliance with national and international social safeguard standards.
2.Transaction Advisory Services for the Construction of Dhaka East-West Elevated Expressway on PPP BasisBangladesh Bridge Authority through Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC)Dhaka, Bangladesh5 February 2025 to OngoingShushilan LTD, in partnership with SSUS, is providing transaction advisory services for the construction of the Dhaka East-West Elevated Expressway on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis, under the Bangladesh Bridge Authority and IIFC. The assignment involves the development of a Resettlement Policy Framework and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) to mitigate the social impacts of land acquisition. Key activities include socio-economic and census surveys, inventory of losses (IOL), stakeholder consultations, focus group discussions, land and asset mapping, LAP preparation, and digital database development. The goal is to ensure fair compensation, livelihood restoration, and smooth implementation of resettlement in line with government policies and safeguard principles.
3.Development of 5 nos Cross Platform Mobile Apps for Government/Private Organization"ICT DivisionBangladesh22 April, 2024 to OngoingUnder the SDMGA Project, Shushilan LTD developed and deployed five customized cross-platform mobile applications to enhance digital service delivery across educational institutions and a government land office. The apps focused on improving student information systems, institutional management, and access to public services, while supporting smart digital governance. Solutions included student registration systems, academic portals, parent-teacher communication tools, and a digitized land record register. Shushilan provided end-to-end services including system analysis, UI/UX design, full-stack development, testing, deployment, user training, and technical support—ensuring smooth adoption and long-term functionality aligned with local literacy and operational needs.
4.Providing Python Programming Training for 9000 Students from 100 "Sheikh Russel School of Future" (SRSOF).Department of Information and Communication Technology, Information and Communication Technology Division, ICT Tower, AgargaonBangladesh27 September, 2023 to OngoingShushilan LTD, in collaboration with Insight Bangladesh Foundation, successfully implemented a large-scale IT training project under the Government’s “Digital Bangladesh Vision 2021.” The assignment provided lab-based Python programming training to 9000 students from 100 Sheikh Russel Schools of Future across Bangladesh. A total of 10800 trainees (including a 20% dropouts) were selected through an online aptitude test and trained in 600 batches. The training program featured 45 hours of hands-on instruction per batch, delivered by 172 trainers, supported by structured communication campaigns, stakeholder engagement, mentoring through the SRSOF platform, and regular reporting to the client. The project aimed to build 21st-century digital skills among students, fostering innovation, problem-solving, and professional development in line with the national agenda for ICT-integrated education.
